​The purpose of this project is to provide dialysis care for Binh Duong's people with the price nearly equivalent with the medical service fee schedule approved by Vietnam Health Insurance. Thus far, we haven't got the opportunity of the agreement with Binh Duong Public Health Insurance so we cannot expand the service to all community.

 Answer by the Provincial Department of Health:

 In early 2017, the divisions of Practice Management and Medical Operation of the provincial Department of Health assessed and licensed the operation of the Department of Hemodialysis of Columbia Asia Hospital Binh Duong. In addition, under the request of the Hospital, the provincial Department of Health proposed the decision to supplement to the list on social insurance. For the approval on social insurance, please contact Binh Duong Social Insurance.

 Answer by Binh Duong Social Insurance:

 Binh Duong Social Insurance issued the document no. 1722/BHXH- GĐBHYT dated April 18, 2017 on informing Columbia Asia Binh Duong Co., Ltd. in receipt of its documents on health insurance-covered medical treatment. However according to the guidance of Vietnam Social Insurance on rectification of health insurance activities, Binh Duong Social Insurance temporarily suspend signing contract with new medical examination and treatment with the health insurance in order to better manage medical treatment service for people with social insurance card in provincial current facilities. Binh Duong Social Insurance will inform later if it needs to sign contract with more facilities.

 Simultaneously after receiving the document no. 11-17/TTr-CAHBD dated July 14, 2017 of Columbia Asia Hospital Binh Duong on cooperation with Binh Duong General Hospital on hemodialysis project implementation and the document no. 1594/SYT-NV dated August 04, 2017 of Binh Duong Health Department on approval of the aforementioned cooperation, Binh Duong Social Insurance issued the document no. 3467/BHXH-GĐBHYT dated August 11, 2017 and sent to Binh Duong Health Department on the condition of social insurance payment for some medical technology services switched to other facilities:

• Have a cooperation contract between two hospitals which were issued codes by Vietnam Social Insurance, along with the detail list of technology services to supplement in annex contract for social insurance payment.
• The technology services list are collected by the initial hospital then posted the list into the gate of health insurance information inspection, attach with character "K" and the code of the hospital.
•  Currently the facilities need the code issued by Vietnam Social Insurance for health insurance payment on information inspection gate. Consequently Columbia Asia Binh Duong Hospital is insufficient to implement the cooperation.
