Talking with Binh Duong provincial leaders, Mr. Va Thorn - Kratie provincial governor shared that Kratie provincial government has always appreciated the friendly cooperation and solidarity between the two sides over the past time. He thanked the Binh Duong provincial government for supporting Kratie province during the past time in the construction of transport infrastructure, roads, bridges, schools, healthcare, etc.; especially the support of medical equipment and food during the recent Covid-19 pandemic. Providing information about the Kratie province's socio-economic, cultural and social situation, Mr. Va Thorn said, that the province's social welfare is currently doing quite well, the whole province has 85% of households using the national electricity grid, 100% of primary school children going to school. The agricultural field also has developed steps, specifically: The area of rubber is 85,000 hectares, pepper trees are 62.00 hectares, sugar cane is 20,000 hectares, etc. This field has attracted investment from Vietnamese enterprises. However, the medical field has not yet met the practical needs. Currently, the province has only 39 health stations in 18 communes. He expected Binh Duong to consider continuing to support the province to build one to two health stations in communes.
On the occasion of the New Year, Mr. Va Thorn sent his wishes for the New Year 2023 and the traditional New Year to the leaders and people of Binh Duong province. He wished Binh Duong province more and more achievements in economic and social development; and hoped the relationship between the two localities will develop further in the future.

On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Vo Van Minh thanked the delegation for the New Year's wishes. He congratulated the achievements that Kratie province has achieved in the past year. At the same time, he reported on the province's economic recovery after the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, Binh Duong ranks 3rd in the country in terms of economic size, contributing to the State budget, as well as attracting social investment. Total foreign direct investment (FDI) attraction is about 40 billion USD. In 2022 alone, the province attracted about 3 billion USD in FDI. The province's import-export turnover accounts for about 9% of the country's import-export turnover, with about 62 billion USD; trade surplus is about 9.2 billion USD. However, under the influence of the world situation, some production areas of Binh Duong are also facing difficulties such as wood, garment, leather shoes, etc. Regarding the proposal to support the construction of health stations in Kratie province, he promised to support Kratie province at least 01 station. He hoped that the Kratie provincial government would continue to support Binh Duong enterprises investing in Kratie province.
