The DT.746 road (section from Tan Thanh junction to Hoi Nghia junction) is an important traffic axis connecting Bac Tan Uyen district with neighboring areas. This is the arterial road leading to Vietnam - Singapore III Industrial Park (VSIP III), connecting Bac Tan Uyen - Phu Giao - Bau Bang Road and Ring Road No.4.
The project is invested by the Provincial Traffic Construction Projects Investment Management Board, with a road length of 11,434km, the starting point intersecting with DT.746 road (at the junction of Tan Thanh commune, Bac Tan Uyen district) and the end point intersecting with DT.747a road (at the junction of Hoi Nghia ward, Tan Uyen town).

Design speed is 80 km/h for sections outside the urban area and 50-60 km/h for sections through urban areas. The roadbed is 38m wide, arranged for 6 lanes, the median strip, the safety strip and the roadside is paved with sidewalk tiles for the section through the urban area, and covered with a 25cm thick red gravel structure for the section outside the urban area. The road is arranged with a full lighting system, road painting, and signs. The total investment is 1,492.33 billion VND from the state budget, of which the cost of construction is 489.6 billion VND, the cost of site clearance compensation is 866 billion VND.
The investment in the road construction will shorten time of travel and goods transportation to important traffic hubs such as Long Thanh airport, Thi Vai port, Cai Mep port, contributing to traffic safety, socio-economic development, attracting investment of the locality in particular and the region in general.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh said that Binh Duong is currently mobilizing a lot of resources to invest in infrastructure to create conditions and motivation for the province to continue developing in the next phase, in which transport infrastructure is prioritized for investment and one step ahead. The DT.746 road is the main traffic axis passing through Bac Tan Uyen district, Tan Uyen town and VSIP III, which is very interested in investment by the province. The groundbreaking project is a practical event to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Binh Duong's development (January 01, 1997 – January 01, 2023).
On behalf of the provincial leaders, the Vice Chairman of the PPC praised the efforts of the investor, the coordination of departments, committees, branches and local authorities and sincerely thanked the people and enterprises on both sides of the road for their good cooperation in compensation and clearance. After starting construction, the investor must immediately deploy synchronous construction solutions, ensuring the progress and quality of the project; closely coordinate management and supervision in accordance with regulations on investment and construction management. The People's Committees of Tan Uyen Town and Bac Tan Uyen district promote their sense of responsibility, focus on completing compensation and clearance to hand over 100% of the site to the construction unit. The Department of Transport regularly inspects and manages quality, promptly records and advises on solving difficulties and problems so that the project can be completed on schedule.
