According to the report, in the first 6 months of 2022, despite facing many difficulties and challenges due to the pandemic, the high price of petroleum had a negative impact on production and business activities of enterprises and directly affected people's lives, however, with the direction of the province and the efforts of the entire political system, the proposed work has achieved quite good results in all aspects.
Industrial production value was estimated at 72,500 billion VND, reaching 56.91% of the year plan, up 15.33% over the same period in 2021. Total retail sales of goods and services was estimated at 47,162 billion VND, equaling 32.05% of the year plan, up 20.43% over the same period. Total budget revenue was over 2,347 billion VND, reaching 74.82% of the estimate assigned by the PPC, up 10.68% over the same period.
The city has fully and promptly implemented regimes and policies for people with meritorious services and disadvantaged people in the area.
However, besides the achieved results, the disbursement rate of the city's public investment capital only reached 9.91% of the plan. A number of people's recommendations on granting land use right certificates in housing areas, residential areas, and resettlement areas have not been thoroughly resolved, etc.

From now until the end of the year, the city will continue to focus on implementing action programs, breakthrough programs and targets of the Resolution of the City Party Congress for the 2020-2025 tenure. In which, focusing on mobilizing revenue for the budget, strictly managing and saving expenses; developing traffic infrastructure towards urbanization, building smart city; developing high-quality service industries. Especially focusing on directing the work of compensation and clearance, land recovery, handling late construction, disbursement of investment capital; completing and submitting the project proposal for recognition of grade-II urban area.
At the meeting, Di An City proposed that the PPC and relevant departments soon consider appraising and approving land prices so that the City People's Committee has a basis to organize compensation, support, resettlement, land recovery to implement projects and disburse public investment capital according to the plan; work with Ho Chi Minh City on an agreement to connect the extended My Phuoc - Tan Van road, the East-West main axis, the 30/4 road to the Hanoi Highway and upgrade and expand the An Binh road connected to Pham Van Dong Street (Ho Chi Minh City). For the Ring Road 3 project, Di An city proposed to the province to urge the consulting unit to hand over the field clearance landmarks for the locality to take steps in order, and at the same time guide to solve problems about the higher compensation unit price for agricultural land in Binh Duong than Ho Chi Minh City, etc.

Through the opinions of the departments and branches, Mr. Vo Van Minh highly appreciated the Di An city's implementation results of socio-economic development tasks in the first 6 months of 2022. The Chairman of the PPC agreed with the direction and tasks in the coming time, and at the same time noted that the locality should focus on solutions to overcome limitations on public investment, security and order situation, and traffic accidents. For specific local recommendations, he suggested that the Department of Natural Resources and Environment and the Department of Finance coordinate with the People's Committee of Di An City to review and unify the land unit price for each specific project in the city to speed up the progress of compensation and site clearance. The Department of Transport continues to promote the connection of roads of Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province on the basis of the policy agreed between the two localities. The Department of Construction guides the locality on the plan for appraisal and embellishment of subdivisions for spontaneous sale of plots to grant land use right certificates to people.
In the coming time, Di An city needs to have studies to update appropriate planning, promote advantages, exploit potentials, focus on developing potentials in logistics, transportation, building science and technology parks, high quality commercial services, etc. in order to increase the growth value. In particular, it is necessary to build resettlement areas for clearance and compensation for public investment projects. In addition, the city needs to pay more attention to the issued digital transformation implementation plan. Strengthening state management of construction order, meeting requirements on urban development orientation. The Chairman of the PPC highly appreciated the spirit of support, contribution of ideas and funds of Thai Binh Group to Di An City for the construction of a level 1 hospital and the Di An New City project.
