Taking place from June 08 to 10, 2022, the Vietnam Industrial & Manufacturing Fair 2022 (referred to as VIMF 2022) will introduce machinery and equipment products, tools, materials, engineering technologies applied to the manufacturing industry, mechanical engineering, automation and supporting industries displayed on an area close to 10,000 m2, gathering more than 300 booths of enterprises and corporations from 15 countries and territories (Singapore, Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand, India, Italy, Germany, USA, etc.) such as: Autonics Vina, Mitsubishi Electric, THACO Industries, 3M, Thinh Qua, Logiform, SICKs, DAT Tech, Beckhoff, Swisslog, Interroll Thailand, Tai Chung Seiki Vietnam, Wustech, Helukabel, Mitutoyo, Servo Dynamics, Yale, etc.

At VIMF 2022, there are many trade and investment promotion activities between domestic and foreign enterprises. In which, the highlight is the Industry 4.0 technology zone (I4.0Z); connect enterprises; Specialized seminar with 11 topics that are trending at the present time and in the future along with new technology solutions applied practically in industrial production, creating opportunities for attendees to listen and interact with experts from Vietnam and a number of countries; Purchasing area brings together "purchasing" groups from factories, manufacturers, contractors, projects, end users, group of solutions for enterprises to have the opportunity to directly contact, catch up with trends, enhance competitiveness in the market, sign contracts at the Fair; Robot demonstration.
Speaking at the ceremony, Permanent Vice Chairman of the PPC Mai Hung Dung said, in recent years, the increase in Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of Binh Duong province has always been high and stable; the economic structure has shifted in the right direction, whereby industry still accounts for the majority share in the province's economic development; the Industrial production index in the 2016-2020 period of Binh Duong province alone increased by an average of 9.3%/year.

Regarding the industry, over the course of more than 20 years of development, Binh Duong province has always been consistent with the motto "spreading flower mats to invite investment" and constantly reforming administrative procedures to create maximum advantages for enterprises. By the end of May 2022, Binh Duong has 27 industrial parks (out of a total of 29 industrial parks) and 09 industrial clusters (out of a total of 12 industrial clusters) that have been put into operation. Accumulated to May 2022, Binh Duong province has attracted 4,047 foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with a total investment capital of 39.5 billion USD; is one of the three provinces and cities attracting the most FDI in the country.
From those successes, in order to create a breakthrough and innovation in attracting investment in the province, Binh Duong PPC has oriented to perfect institutions and policies, improve the quality and efficiency of foreign investment cooperation by 2030 in the province, in order to focus on industrial development in the direction of prioritizing production projects with high added technology and value, encouraging investment in the development of supporting industries in the fields of manufacturing and assembling machinery, equipment, and electronics; develop high-tech agriculture and services; focus on implementing the project of building a smart city with a triple helix model (Enterprise - Government - University).
"With that spirit, I hope, domestic and foreign associations, enterprises and units participating in this Fair can share advances in technology development, industry and automation, thereby finding new technological solutions to innovate production, improve the quality and competitiveness of Vietnam's products and services in the world market" - emphasized Mr. Mai Hung Dung.
