According to a report by the Provincial Social Security, in the first 4 months of 2022, the number of people participating in compulsory SI is 972,566 people, reaching 85% of the target assigned by the PPC, up 44,729 people compared to 2021. The number of people participating in HI is 2,016,878 people, reaching 82.37% of the target assigned by the PPC, down 195,363 people compared to 2021. The number of people participating in UI is 954,699 people, reaching 85.34% of the target assigned by the PPC, up 44,571 people compared to 2021.
In general, in the first 4 months of the year, the Steering Committee focused on closely and drastically directed the implementation of the province's SI, HI and UI policies. The synchronous coordination between agencies and units in the performance of tasks contributes to gradually improving the efficiency of the implementation of insurance policies.

From January 01, 2022, the increase in the minimum voluntary SI premium due to the adjustment in the poverty line of rural areas is also the reason why the participation in voluntary SI decreases and the campaigning for new participation faces many difficulties. Due to the impact of the pandemic, workers returning to their hometowns have not returned to work, traders and business people face difficulties, affecting their participation in insurance. Students who have not fully participated in HI according to the subjects specified in the Law on HI, etc.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the PPC Nguyen Loc Ha requested between branches, levels and local authorities in the province to have better coordination in promoting the propagation of insurance policies, so that people participate in insurance more fully in the last 6 months of the year. He emphasized, it is necessary to focus on publicity, focusing on both form and content to suit each subject. In addition, targets must be set in the coordination of inspection and supervision to achieve high efficiency. In the coming time, the provincial social security needs to have separate meetings with each branch to agree on coordination as well as come up with practical solutions to deploy insurance policies in the province in the most effective way.
