At the meeting, Chairman of the PPC Vo Van Minh said, with an open and attractive investment environment, over the past time, Binh Duong has always been one of the leading provinces and cities nationwide in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI). In 2021, despite many difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, Binh Duong province still attracted more than 2.6 billion USD in FDI capital.
Accumulated to April 30, 2022, the province has 4,044 investment projects from 65 countries and territories with a total investment capital of 39.4 billion USD. In which, Japan ranked second with 331 projects and total investment capital of 5.78 billion USD, accounting for 14.7% of total FDI capital in the province with the main investment fields in infrastructure and urban development, trade and service; manufacturing electronic components, circuits and chips; automobile assembly, iron and steel production; garment and leather shoes; pharmaceutical and other supporting industries. Among them is Tokyu Corporation with an investment capital of 1.2 billion USD.

Chairman of the PPC highly appreciated the business activities of Tokyu Corporation and Becamex Tokyu Co., Ltd., although affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, they still implemented effective projects; always actively coordinate with the provincial government to well implement the investment and remove difficulties. In the coming time, Binh Duong will continue to pay attention and accompany to support the Company to quickly and effectively implement projects, especially traffic projects, infrastructure development, urban development; through that, contributing to promoting economic development, improving people's quality of life and attracting high-quality labor force to live and work in the province.
