​PORTAL – As reported by the Department of Health, on November 23, 2021, Binh Duong has 447 more patients discharged from the hospital, in which, the treatment facility: 211 patients, at home: 236 patients.

During the day, the province recorded 698 cases through RT-PCR testing and had full epidemiological information; collecting 324 patients; 12 patients died.

In addition, the Department of Health reported an additional 28,000 cases of Covid-19 from July 10, 2021 to November 3, 2021 (medical facilities: 602 cases, concentrated isolation areas: 2,488 cases, blockade areas 22,664 cases and community screening: 2,246 cases), which met all epidemiological conditions; it is expected that the Ministry of Health will announce it on the 7pm news on November 23, 2021.

Since the 4th pandemic wave, Binh Duong province has recorded 277,406 cases of Covid-19 (through RT-PCR test); 2,628 deaths.

Number of Covid-19 cases through RT-PCR test on November 23, 2021

Treatment facilities throughout the province are treating 2,894 patients (1st floor: 1,963 patients, 2nd floor: 542 patients and 3rd floor: 389 patients). Number of critically ill patients requiring oxygen: 241 patients.

Cumulatively, the province has vaccinated 4,230,253 doses/4,361,714 doses of the distributed Covid-19 vaccine (2,440,455 1st doses and 1,789,798 2nd doses); 177,518 doses were administered to subjects aged 12-17 years (of which 97,383 doses were given to subjects 15-17 years old and 80,135 doses were given to subjects 12-14 years old).

According to statistics of the Health sector, the number of Covid-19 cases in the province recently has about 5-10% of cases that have not been vaccinated; the mortality rate of unvaccinated patients is about 40%. The rate of people who received 1 dose of vaccine died accounted for about 30% and the rate of people who received 2 doses of vaccine died accounted for about 30%. Therefore, the Health sector recommends that, people who have not been vaccinated, especially the elderly, with underlying diseases quickly go to local health facilities to receive vaccines.
