In the last 24 hours, Binh Duong recorded 4,013 new cases of Covid-19. In which, 88.2% of infected cases were found in blockade areas with 3,539 cases; 215 cases were detected through community screening tests (accounting for 5.4%); 213 cases were detected at medical facilities (accounting for 5.3%) and 46 cases were confirmed by PCR in the temporary isolation ward (accounting for 1.1%).

By residential area, Thuan An City had 1,871 cases (blockade areas: 1,749 cases, community screening tests: 61 cases, PCR confirmative results at temporary isolation area: 10 cases, medical facilities: 51 cases); Di An City had 986 cases (blockade areas: 868 cases, community screening tests: 115 cases, medical facilities: 03 cases); Ben Cat Town had 368 cases (blockade areas: 298 cases, PCR confirmative results at temporary isolation area: 02 cases, community screening tests: 11 cases, medical facilities: 57 cases); Tan Uyen Town had 308 cases (blockade areas: 263 cases, community screening tests: 01 case, medical facilities: 44 cases); Bau Bang District had 213 cases (blockade areas: 185 cases, community screening tests: 03 cases, medical facilities: 25 cases); Thu Dau Mot City had 197 cases (blockade areas: 161 cases, PCR confirmative results at temporary isolation area: 24 cases, medical facilities: 12 cases ); Bac Tan Uyen District had 33 cases (PCR confirmative results at temporary isolation area: 31 cases, medical facilities: 02 cases); Phu Giao District had 20 cases (blockade areas: 05 cases, PCR confirmative results at temporary isolation area: 03 cases, medical facilities: 12 cases); Dau Tieng District had 07 case found in blockade areas, 10 cases (blockade areas: 03 cases, medical facilities: 07 cases) were detected outside the province.

During the day, 3,305 patients have been treated, 28 deaths occurred. Currently, Covid-19 treatment facilities in the province are treating 46,048 patients.
Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong has recorded 173,086 Covid-19 cases, 1,577 patients died.
The whole province has 32,966 people under concentrated isolation including: 574 F1, 10,790 rapid test cases waiting for confirmative testing; 21,602 F0 cases without symptoms. 6,454 F1 cases and 5,737 F0 cases are isolated at home.
From August 02, 2021, Binh Duong has proceeded the large-scale testing in the 2nd and 3rd phase through rapid testing and PCR testing for 5,766,880 turns of people. According to the results, 129,115 cases were found positive (accounting for 2.24%). PCR samples were taken for 135,787 workers of 167 companies, 392 cases were found positive.
Cumulatively, the Report system reported that 1,919,480 doses of vaccine were injected (1,864,445 1st doses and 55,035 2nd doses).
On September 17, 2021, the province provided support for 9,376 cases, with a total amount of VND 13.833 billion. Cumulatively, 3,134,903 cases have been supported with the total amount of VND 1,772.802 billion.
