On July 27, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 166 Covid-19 cases, 14 patients recovered

​PORTAL - According to the report of the Department of Health, from 6:00 to 17:00 on July 27, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 79 new infected cases, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases in the day to 166 (decreasing by 567 cases compared to July 26, 2021).

Among 166 new infected cases, 68 cases were detected at medical facilities; 32 cases were detected at quarantine zones; 21 cases were detected at blockade areas; and 45 cases were detected through screening in the community.

By locality, Ben Cat Town has 60 cases, Di An City has 27 cses, Thu Dau Mot City has 23 cases, Thuan AN City has 18 cases, Tan Uyen Town has 16 cases, Bau Bang District has 10 cases, Phu Giao District has 04 cases, Bac Tan Uyen has 01 case and other localities have 07 cases.

 

Epidemic development in the last 12 days

On July 27, 2021, 14 patients recovered and 09 cases died.

From the 4th epidemic, Binh Duong Province have recorded 8,909 Covid-19 cases; 702 patients have recovered; 47 patients died.

Currently Binh Duong has 12 treatment areas with 4,803 patients under treatments (new infected cases are transferred to treatment areas and some F0 cases without symptoms are still at temporary quarantine zones). Among the cases, there are 76 pregnant women; 65 people over 65 years old; 164 people with background diseases; 192 patients having severe development.

Direct human resources include 120 doctors, 295 nurses; and 166 medical staff (in total: 581 people).

Up to July 27, 2021, Binh Duong has received support from 25 Unions of Ministries, units and localities with more than 3,000 officials, experts, army, doctors, nurses, volunteers serving Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control of the province.

Cases classified by locality in th​​e last 02 days

From July 17, 2021, Binh Duong has implemented the large-scale testing plan through rapid testing and RT-PCR testing in all localities of the province. Cumulatively, after 10 days of large-scale screening testing, 957,018 people have been taken test samples, 10,230 people are suspected to be infected with Covid-19 (1%).

The whole province has 931 areas in quarantine with 157,504 people; 116 concentrated quarantine points with 18,884 people in quarantine and 286 F1 cases in quarantine at home.

Cumulatively, 74,737 people have been vaccinated (including 69,849 people taking their 1st dose, 4,888 people taking their 2nd dose; 16,924 people had normal reactions (23.1%).

In the coming time, it is necessary to continue checking areas with high potential like hostels, companies etc. At the same time, testing speed must be accelerated to ensure >95% residents are taken samples. It is urgent to take PCR testing samples for the cases who received positive results after rapid testing to transfer them to quarantine and treatment areas.

On July 27, Binh Duong People’s Committee issued the Document No. 3506/UBND-NC on enhancing the measures of implementing social distancing, reducing the frequency of travelling of people and vehicles.

Accordingly, residents in Binh Duong Province are not allowed to go outside; stores, business establishments must be temporarily closed from 18:00 the previous day to before 6:00 the next day.

The valid time starts from 18:00 on July 28, 2021 until further announcement.

Cases allowed to travel, operate in the limited hours:

- Emergency, epidemic prevention and control forces or support forces at the request of coordination to prevent and control the epidemic of the authorities and the officials and civil servants assisting leaders of the committees, local authorities. Members of the Steering Committee for Epidemic Prevention and Control at all levels; leaders of departments and branches; officials and civil servants advising and directly assisting the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and the Leaders of the Provincial People's Committee in directing and administering.

- Officials, reporters, editors of newspapers and radio stations of the province and of the Central Resident agencies located in the province; urban environmental sanitation workers, employees troubleshooting electricity, water, information systems and technical infrastructure.

- Means of transporting essential goods; means of transport for forces performing epidemic prevention and control tasks; means of transport for workers at enterprises carrying out "1 route - 2 destinations"; means of transporting materials in service of production, import and export goods.

- Petrol retail stores, pharmacies.
