Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong has recorded 6,591 cases of Covid-19. Currently, there are 11 treatment areas for Covid-19 patients in the province with 3,939 patients being treated (Newly detected patients are being transferred to treatment areas and some asymptomatic F0 patients are still isolated in temporary isolation areas). In which, there are 44 pregnant women, 39 people over 65 years old, 108 people have underlying diseases, 99 people have severe disease. There have been 384 patients recovered, 18 patients died.
Tracing results at all outbreaks recorded about 22,672 F1 cases, 39,814 F2 cases. The total number of cases currently in concentrated medical isolation is 12,534 cases. The total number of cases under medical isolation at home and residence is 33,032 cases.
To date, 5,788 Community Covid Teams and 7,974 Covid Safety Teams have been established at enterprises. The whole province has vaccinated for 68,742 people (in which, 64,287 people got the 1st dose, 4,455 people got the 2nd dose; 16,029 people had normal reactions (23.3%).
To achieve herd immunity in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, Binh Duong has set a target to vaccinate all subjects aged 18 and over fully vaccinated against Covid-19 on a provincial scale. Time to implement in stages until reaching herd immunity in the whole area.
From March to May, 2021, Binh Duong province used 1,700 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine distributed by the Ministry of Health for the first time. From the 2nd quarter of 2021 until now, vaccination against Covid-19 has been continued for subjects in the spirit of Resolution No. 21 of the Government along with the vaccine supply progress and instructions from the Ministry of Health in each phase.
Together with the whole country, Binh Duong has built a campaign to vaccinate against Covid-19 in 2021-2022 and is expected to be implemented with fixed and mobile vaccination points that are eligible for Covid-19 vaccination according to regulations to meet the large number of workers in industrial parks, agencies, enterprises, export processing zones and people in the province.
Vaccination sessions will be carried out as soon as the vaccine is available, vaccination points and subjects will be notified by the Health sector and local authorities to all people and the Covid-19 vaccine is given free of charge to everyone.
