The "Tet for the poor - Tan Suu Spring 2021" program is one of the activities of the "Tet for the poor and victims of Agent Orange" Movement to call for philanthropists to join hands to help and share with people in difficult circumstances so that they can enjoy a warm and joyful traditional New Year. The program has mobilized the contribution of more than 200 enterprises and philanthropists inside and outside the province with the total amount of over 24 billion VND. This sum will be coordinated by the Provincial Red Cross Society with the Red Cross Society at all levels, committees, branches and unions to organize visits and present gifts with the aim of bringing the warmth of spring and multiplying more joy for the people who are still in difficulty during the Tet holiday.

In order for the strength of solidarity and compassion to ceaselessly spread into society, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested all levels and branches to coordinate well in implementing social security programs in 2021, energizing and creating conditions for poor and difficult households, people with disabilities and victims of Agent Orange to rise in life and reduce poverty sustainably. The "Tet for the poor and victims of Agent Orange"
movement in Binh Duong is developing more and more widely and achieving
practical results. In 2020, the Provincial Red Cross Society mobilized more
than 148 billion VND to help over 800,000 people through charity and
humanitarian activities such as: Visiting, presenting gifts, repairing houses,
supporting economic development, implementing the "Each organization and
individual associated with a humane address" campaign, etc. On the
occasion of the Lunar New Year of Tan Suu 2021, the Society cooperated with the
Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee to present more than 3,800 gifts worth over
6 billion VND to the poor and people in difficult circumstances in the
province.
