The Vietnam-Germany Friendship Association in Binh Duong province was established with the aim of introducing all classes of people in the province to history, country, people as well as the relationship between the people of Vietnam and the people of the Federal Republic of Germany; stabilizing the organization, setting up affiliated branches to operate with quality and efficiency; maintaining solidarity and friendship between the people and the two states. Every year, the Association will send personnel to join the provincial delegations to Germany to exchange information, establish initial relationships with Vietnam-German friendship organizations, socio-political organizations and enterprises in Germany for the benefit of the people of the two countries.

The congress negotiated to elect the Executive Committee of the Association including 11 members; The Inspection Committee consists of 03 members. Dr. Ha Thuc Vien - Vice Rector of Vietnamese-German University was elected as the President of the Association.
At the Congress, delegates approved the Resolution of the Congress of the Vietnam-German Friendship Association of Binh Duong province, term 2020-2025. Accordingly, in the coming time, the Association will continue to build specific plans of activities, thoroughly grasp Directive 04 of the Party Central Committee's Secretariat, term XI on improving the efficiency of people's foreign affairs in the new situation, building the content and operation method of the Association in an active, flexible, creative and effective manner, making a positive contribution to the nurturing and developing the friendly relationship of the people of the two countries.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the two countries Vietnam - Germany are approaching the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, therefore, the Congress has a particularly important meaning, in order to promote cooperation between Vietnam in general, Binh Duong province in particular with the Federal Republic of Germany. Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that the Vietnam-Germany Friendship Association of Binh Duong province should stick to the principle of purpose set out in the Association's Charter; The Executive Committee of the Association upholds the sense of responsibility, solidarity, dynamism and creativity in managing and successfully implementing the proposed Resolution and program; in particular, attaching importance to strengthening foreign relations, people-to-people exchanges, strengthening cooperation in economic, cultural and social development, serving as a bridge to help German enterprises effectively invest and do business in Binh Duong.
