At the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of the province, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Truc - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave a basket of flowers to congratulate the staffs, lecturers and students of Thu Dau Mot University. As a key public university of Binh Duong province, after 11 years of construction and development, Thu Dau Mot University has become a multi-disciplinary, multi-major university, developed according to application-oriented. In the school year 2020-2021, the school welcomes 4,500 fresh students to begin the school term, bringing the school's size to 15,000 full-time students, 3,000 regular students and 1,000 postgraduate students.
Thu Dau Mot University has gradually affirmed its position and prestige in the education system, and is trusted by parents and students and become a place to study and practice. The school achieved National accreditation standards in 2017, is a member of prestigious educational organizations such as: ASEAN university system, worldwide CDIO initiative, a network of schools applying ISW teaching skills and a reliable partner of many universities in the world. In 2020, the school ranked the 27th in international publication, ranked the 39th in the Citation Index out of a total of 256 universities and research institutes in Vietnam and reached the 4-star standard of the application-oriented university group of Vietnam and ASEAN according to the university ranking system developed by experts from Hanoi National University. The training programs have been tested according to national and international standards.
On this occasion, Thu Dau Mot University rewarded 17 students who entered the entrance exam in 2020 with highest score and 37 engineers and bachelors graduated in 2020.
