At the meeting, Mr. Cho Han Deog said that Binh Duong is a dynamically developing province and a place that attracts many foreign businesses to seek investment opportunities, including a large number of enterprises from Korea. At the current pace of development and urbanization, Vietnam generaly and Binh Duong in particularly are affected by climate change and environmental pollution due to increasing domestic and industrial wastes. In order to solve the above problem, in the coming time, KOICA will combine with Samsung Engineering (SECL) and local authorities to build a waste management system specializing in collecting, disposing and converting garbage into electricity to provide for industrial sectors and contributing to environmental protection. Mr. Cho Han Deog hoped that the provincial government would care and accompany during the process deploying the project, and will have the opportunity to cooperate more projects.
