The provincial leader welcomes Senator of the National Assembly of Japan

BEGIC - ​On the morning of April 29th, in Thu Dau Mot City, Mr. Tran Van Nam - Member of Party Central Committee, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Head of Provincial National Assembly Delegation presided a working visit with the Delegation of Senator of Japanese National Assembly led by Mr. Sasaki Hajime - Senator of National Assembly, Secretary of Japanese Central Youth Union of Japan, as head of the delegation visiting Binh Duong provincial leaders.

Along with Mr. Le Quoc Phong - Alternate member of Party Central Committee, First Secretary of Central Communist Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh; Mr. Tran Thanh Liem - Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Hung – Member of Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Becamex IDC Corporation and representatives of some provincial departments.

Welcome the delegation to visit and work in Binh Duong, Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Tran Van Nam said, Binh Duong is a fast-growing socio-economic locality of the whole country, which focuses on developing industry - service. So far, the province has attracted nearly 3,600 foreign investment projects with a total capital of over US $33 billion. Among 60 countries and territories investing in Binh Duong, Japan currently ranks 2nd with a total capital of over US $5 billion, especially Tokyu Group, which invests over US $1 billion. Tokyu Group is working with the province to study the deployment of a BRT fast bus system and electric train system with Japanese model. Binh Duong is also inviting Japanese enterprises to research and develop logistics and rail transport systems from Binh Duong to Vung Tau. Secretary of provincial Party Committee affirmed that, the cooperative relationship between Binh Duong and Japanese localities generally and Japanese enterprises particularly, has been developing well. On this occasion, the provincial leader hoped that, the Delegation of Senator of National Assembly of Japan continued to promote Binh Duong's image, introducing the results of cooperation between Binh Duong and Japanese localities as well as the performance of Japanese enterprises in Binh Duong, thereby calling for more Japanese and Binh Duong enterprises to explore investment opportunities.

In response to Binh Duong's leaders, Mr. Sasaki Hajime - Senator of National Assembly of Japan said that, the purpose of the delegation's visit is to evaluate the results of cooperation between the two sides in urban development in Binh Duong. He hoped that, the two sides would organize regular visits and exchanges to survey the progress of projects and at the same time explore opportunities for cooperation in other fields. Senator of the National Assembly of Japan said that, with the experience and reputation available, Tokyu Group will cooperate and support Binh Duong ​province to research and develop successful projects on urban construction, services, public transport, contributing to the prosperity of Binh Duong urban in the coming time.
