The MoU revealed that by October 2018, Binh Duong will host WTA's series of events, including the first 11th General Assembly of WTA; hi-tech fair and exhibition and global innovative and creative forum in 2018; The WTA market forum; University Presidents Forum, hi-tech fair and exhibition….

At the ceremony, Binh Duong provincial People's Committee granted investment certificates for the first time in 2018 to 19 projects including 17 FDI projects and 2 domestic ones. For the first 2 months of this year, Binh Duong has achieved VND 10,313 billion and USD 435 million for domestic and FDI capitals. Accumulating to the current time, Binh Duong has 31,548 domestic enterprises capitalized at VND 247,524 billion and 3,075 FDI enterprises with the registered capital of USD 27,013 million. Binh Duong is ranked second in terms of FDI attraction just behind HCMC.

On this occasion, Becamex IDC and Far Eastern Corp. signed land lease contract to expand Bau bang IP. Accordingly, Far Eastern Corp. will lease additional 120 hectares in Bau Bang IP. Its first stage of the project has been completed and put into operation with nearly 1,000 workers.

Addressing the ceremony, Tran Thanh Liem, Chairman of provincial People's Committee affirmed that the efforts to become member of WTA and to build Binh Duong into a smart city will motivate the cause of building Binh Duong a civilized, modern and sustainable urban city. This event saw one of the first success in 2018 of the province in its strive to create clear and transparent investment climate.
The Chairman also stressed that provincial authorities, departments and sectors will accompany with enterprises in their business and production; promptly solve difficulties; listen and understand ideas, suggestions and expectation of investors. Binh Duong will have flexible measures to improve investment climate for the success of the investor. Binh Duong will strive to be one of the trustive and attractive destination of investors.

international organization created in 1998 with the participation of Daejeon
