PORTAL – On the morning of January 22, at the Binh Duong Provincial Administration Center, Mr. Vo Van Minh – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) received the Delegation of Siheung City, Gyeonggi Province (South Korea) led by Mr. Lim Byeong Taek – the Mayor of Sieung City, Gyeonggi province to visit the leaders of Binh Duong province.
In the near future, to contribute to consolidating and developing the friendly cooperative relationship in many aspects between Thu Dau Mot City (Binh Duong) and Siheung City (Gyeonggi), the two localities would sign the Memorandum of Understanding on establishing friendly cooperative relationships based on the principles of equality and mutual benefit.

Accordingly, the two sides would strengthen cooperation in the fields of their interest. Especially, exchanging policy research would be prioritized to support each other in city development, cooperation in investment promotion and economic cooperation activities; promote investment in industrial, high-tech service fields, and areas with development potential such as administration, education, culture, tourism, and environment.

Highly appreciating the future cooperation orientation between the two localities, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Chairman of the PPC emphasized that Binh Duong not only strengthened socio-economic development but also expanded bilateral and multilateral cooperative relations. Up to now, Binh Duong has created bilateral cooperative relations with 13 foreign provinces and cities including Daejeon Metropolitan City (South Korea); at the district level, Ben Cat town signed a cooperative agreement with Yeongdo district, Busan City (South Korea); and in the coming time, Thu Dau Mot City would also sign an agreement with Siheung city (South Korea).

The Chairman of the PPC hoped that in the near future, the two sides would meet regularly and share experiences of administration and operating local authorities; strengthen cultural and sports exchanges to tighten the friendly cooperative relationship between the two localities.
