Binh Duong continues to accompany the LEGO Group to complete the project

​PORTAL – On the morning of January 9, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) welcomed Mr. Preben Elnef - Vice President of LEGO Group and General Director of LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam.
At the meeting, Mr. Elnef expressed thanks to the Binh Duong provincial government for creating favorable conditions so that LEGO Group could implement its project in Viet Nam – Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III). So far, the project has been completed on schedule. The Group is also actively coordinating with relevant partners to complete the 110kV power grid connection and deploy solar power as soon as possible.

Leaders of LEGO Group also introduced to provincial leaders, Mr. Jesper Hassellund Mikkelsen - Senior Vice President (in charge of LEGO Group's production activities in the Asia-Pacific region) who will be in charge of the factory in Viet Nam soon.

Mr. Elnef emphasized that 2024 would be an important year for completing the project. Therefore, the Group is looking forward to achieving success as well as receiving support from Binh Duong province.

Noting the recommendations of the LEGO Group, Mr. Vo Van Minh affirmed that Binh Duong pays special attention and efforts to speed up procedures related to LEGO projects, including progress in implementing grid connection and solar power to serve production needs, towards the goal of net zero emissions.
