​PORTAL - At the dialogue session of the Horasis Asia Meeting 2023 with the theme "Promoting digital transformation" taking place on the afternoon of December 03, delegates and experts presented comments and comprehensive assessments on building a cooperative ecosystem in digital transformation; the role of the Banking industry in creating motivation for digital transformation of the economy, etc.

According to experts, after the Covid-19 pandemic, digital transformation is taking place as an inevitable trend, and at the same time, governments of countries are increasingly promoting digitalization as a future planning goal. The role of the Banking industry creates motivation for digital transformation of the economy. Accordingly, the banking industry's activities cover all socio-economic activities, associated with the movement of the entire economy, as the Banking industry takes the lead in digital transformation, motivating other economic industries to implement digital transformation.

However, besides the benefits, the digital transformation process also poses a series of challenges and potential information security risks for governments of countries. Experts believe that ensuring network safety and security must be considered a top priority and focus. 

Also at the Dialogue session, experts focused on analyzing the topic of triple helix cooperation between government-technology enterprise-university in digital transformation. Mr. Tran Hoang - Chairman of VietnamMarcom said that the Government plays the role of captain, leading and creating for relevant parties to act towards common goals. In addition, to create a sustainable development ecosystem, it is necessary to expand the target subjects towards small and medium-sized enterprises, banks, and "start-ups".

Delegates and experts discuss at the Dialogue session

Emphasizing the role of the "gen Z" generation in promoting digital transformation, Mr. Tim Nguyen - Deputy Director of the Viet Nam Institute of Applied Research and Innovation for Enterprises (3AI) said that, for a country developed like Viet Nam, the key solution is the role of education in contributing to building a generation of responsible digital citizens. At schools, it is necessary to research and incorporate digital technology into the curriculum, starting from high school to university; build for the young generation how to build information online, protect privacy and network security. Schools need to provide practical experiences, extracurricular participation, and internships for students, coordinate with industrial parks and enterprises for intern students, and encourage students to carry out projects with enterprises.
