In his welcome speech, Mr. Vo Van Minh - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the PPC affirmed that, during the 50-year journey of establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries, Vietnam and India have achieved many important achievements in the fields of politics, security, defense, economy - trade and people-to-people exchanges. Last August 2022, Binh Duong province coordinated with the Consulate General of India in Ho Chi Minh City to organize the BOLLYWOOD Dance Performance - a program in the event series of "Namaste Vietnam Festival 2022". The Horasis India Meeting 2022, organized by Binh Duong province in collaboration with Horasis and Confederation of Indian Industry from September 25 to 27 this year is a particularly important foreign affairs event of Binh Duong province. This is also one of the practical activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations between Vietnam and India (1972 - 2022), contributing to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership cooperation between the two countries Vietnam and India.

Chairman of the PPC emphasized that Binh Duong province has been making efforts to promote bilateral and multilateral cooperation in order to further develop economy - society and improve integration and competitiveness in the international arena. Accompanying with the transformation steps of Asian countries and the world, Binh Duong province has been implementing the "Binh Duong Smart City" construction project in the 2021-2030 period, a breakthrough program for socio-economic development of the province, aiming to raise the level of Binh Duong Smart Region development to the region and the world. As the co-chair of the Horasis India Meeting 2022, Binh Duong hopes to have the opportunity to cooperate with regional and international partners, including Indian partners, in order to develop economy - society, implement the Smart City Project, build Binh Duong urban area to develop quickly and sustainably in the future.
