Number of Covid-19 cases through RT-PCR test on November 24, 2021
Since the 4th pandemic wave, Binh Duong province has recorded 278,102 cases of Covid-19 (through RT-PCR test); 2,643 deaths.
Treatment facilities throughout the province are treating 2,845 patients (1st floor: 1,869 patients, 2nd floor: 577 patients and 3rd floor: 399 patients). Number of critically ill patients requiring oxygen: 255 patients.
Cumulatively, the province has vaccinated 4,241,585 doses/4,520,214 doses of the distributed Covid-19 vaccine (2,442,041 1st doses and 1,799,544 2nd doses); 192,680 doses were administered to subjects aged 12-17 years (of which 108,388 doses were given to subjects 15-17 years old and 84,292 doses were given to subjects 12-14 years old).
According to statistics of the Health sector, the number of Covid-19 cases in the province recently has about 5-10% of cases that have not been vaccinated; the mortality rate of unvaccinated patients is about 40%. Therefore, the Health sector recommends that, people who have not been vaccinated, especially the elderly, with underlying diseases quickly go to local health facilities to receive vaccines.
