Binh Duong Department of Health proposes to prioritize vaccination for people in red zones

​PORTAL - On August 27, 2021, Binh Duong Department of Health issued a Statement for the Provincial People's Committee's policy on the subjects and distribution of Covid-19 vaccines for phases 19 and 20.

Accordingly, based on the regulations on the priority group of subjects to be vaccinated and free of charge under the Government's Resolution no. 21, assessing the risk of pandemic in the province, the Department of Health proposed to inject 101,190 doses of Pfizer vaccine to the following groups of subjects:

People in high-risk areas in Thuan An city, Di An city, Thu Dau Mot city, Tan Uyen town; continuing to injecting the 1st dose to frontline forces against the pandemic (medical, police, military, support forces, volunteers, reporters, etc.); injecting the 2nd dose to subjects who have received the 1st dose for enough time to inject the 2nd dose (from 3 weeks or more); people over 65 years old, subjects who postpone vaccination in previous phases due to underlying medical conditions but are eligible for vaccination; pregnant women over 13 weeks or more (can only be vaccinated with the consent of the obstetrician).

The period of vaccination implementation is from August 30-31, 2021.

On August 20, 2021, Binh Duong deployed the phases 20 and 21 of vaccination with the number of 265,210 doses distributed, on August 27-29, 2021, deployed the phase 25 of vaccination with the distributed number of 99,800 doses. Accumulated to August 28, 2021, the province recorded 856,441 doses of vaccine injected (including: 818,514 1st doses and 37,927 2nd doses) to the subjects (of which, 15,600 foreign experts were vaccinated).
