Binh Duong deploys vaccination distributed to 13 subject groups within 10 days

​PORTAL - In order to accelerate the progress of Covid-19 vaccination for subjects in the province, the Department of Health has just issued a dispatch express to propose the Provincial People's Committee to distribute Covid-19 vaccines to subjects and request agencies and units make a list of subjects for injection.

Accordingly, the Department of Health proposes to inject 325,520 doses of vaccine in the 6th and 11th - 16th phase for the following subjects: People working in health facilities, the health sector (public and private); frontline participants in pandemic prevention and control: medical staff, support forces, volunteers, reporters; subjects who received 1st dose having enough time to receive 2nd dose; subjects with underlying, chronic diseases, people over 65 years old; retired officials, people in pandemic areas (green/red zone): workers, citizens, employees, the poor; groups of people at risk or in contact with many people: drivers, pharmacies, toll stations, banks, post offices, hotels, etc.; essential supply enterprises; enterprises actively supporting pandemic prevention and control; foreign experts, foreigners living and working in the province; teachers, pupils, students at educational institutions; religious dignitaries; freelance workers.

The vaccination period is from August 04 to August 13, 2021; Vaccination for the remaining (if vaccines are available) on August 14-15, 2021.

Types of Covid-19 vaccines include: Astrazeneca, Moderna, Sinopharm.

In which, Astrazeneca vaccine is injected for subjects according to Resolution no. 21 and other subjects (80,000 doses distributed to provincial and local agencies), injected in the enterprises (73,000 doses); Moderna vaccine is injected for subjects according to Resolution no. 21 and other subjects (149,520 doses); Sinopharm vaccine is injected for Chinese citizens and subjects preparing to study in China (23,000 doses).

The Department of Health has also sent a written request to the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and the provincial Industrial Zones Authority to quickly make statistics of enterprises and production facilities that need vaccination, considers enterprises and production facilities that implement "3 on the spot" or "1 road, 2 locations" to make a priority list for vaccination first.

To ensure the vaccination schedule as planned, the Department of Health also proposes to mobilize 177 units to carry out vaccination for the subjects in the form of local, mobile and coordinated injection. At the same time, using specialized vehicles allocated by the Ministry of Health to perform mobile injection.

The People's Committees of districts, towns and cities urgently direct Medical Centers of districts, towns, cities, relevant committees, branches and mass organizations to organize the vaccination with safety, efficiency and correct composition, avoiding waste.
