PORTAL - The Provincial People's Committee promulgates a Decision on the establishment of a Field laboratory for testing and screening for SARS-CoV-2 which is conducted by Viet A Company at Ben Cat Town Medical Center (address at National Highway 13, My Phuoc ward, Ben Cat town).
Doctor Huynh Thanh Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Health is assigned to directly direct the operation and coordination of the Field laboratory's activities, ensuring that the samples sent by the district Health Centers are tested and returned results promptly, effectively and in accordance with regulations.
Viet A Company performs screening tests for SARS-CoV-2, returns the results by soft file and paper document signed for result confirmation to the sample sending units, ensuring timely according to the specified time; daily reports synthesis results to the provincial Center for Disease Control. Ben Cat Town Health Center supports the provision of stationery, wastewater treatment, medical waste, electricity and water bills, and final settlement with the annual funding for pandemic prevention and control.
The Department of Health mobilizes students and volunteers to support the Field laboratory when Viet A Company has a need.
The field laboratory in charge by Viet A Company must comply with the scope of professional activities, not perform other techniques to gain illicit profits or affect the schedule or results of screening tests for SARS-CoV-2 and will be dissolved after completing its task or when the pandemic situation in the province is under control.
