Receiving nearly VND 255 billion, Binh Duong allocated it to localities and units to fight the epidemic

​Responding to the letter calling on the "All people to participate in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic" of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province, many businesses, agencies, organizations and individuals inside and outside the province have actively participated in and supported the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. As of July 16, 2021, The Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (Rescue Board) has received donations and registered for donations with a total amount of nearly VND 255 billion.

​​In which, there are nearly VND 122 billion in cash; medical supplies, medical equipment, and food products worth VND 133 billion.

The Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (Rescue Board) has carried out the procedure of spending 02 installments from the Provincial Relief Fund, in the source of mobilizing support for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, with the amount of VND 14 billion 520 million to implement in the province. At the same time, The Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has submitted to the Provincial Party Committee's policy to support people in isolated and blocked areas belonging to the elderly, pregnant women, children with disabilities, and Orange victims have difficult circumstances, the estimated expenditure is VND 1,000,000 /person.

Regarding artifacts, the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (Rescue Board) has received many artifacts, goods, medical equipment, medical supplies, essential necessities. As of July 16, 2021, received 04 ambulances, 01 medicine truck, over 22,000 Covid-19 antigen test kits, 20,000 gloves, medical masks, 600 medical protective suits etc. and more than 100 tons of goods, necessities, vegetables and fruits, food to support people in isolation areas and forces on duty to prevent and control the epidemic. All items and goods and necessities received have been allocated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province in collaboration with the Department of Health, the Center for Disease Control of the province (CDC) and the Provincial Red Cross Society to be distributed to isolated areas, hospitals and clinics to support people and forces on duty to prevent and control the epidemic.

Specifically: Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thanh Hoa province donated VND 01 billion; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Hai Phong city donated VND 01 billion; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province donated VND 01 billion; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Thuan province donated 13 tons of goods worth VND 1 billion; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ben Tre province donated VND 500 million and goods; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Phuoc province donated VND 300 million; Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee in Can Tho city donated VND 300 million; The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province donated 30 tons of goods and necessities etc.
