PORTAL - According to the report of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, on the evening of July 16, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 113 new infected cases, bringing the total number of infected cases in the day to 166.
Among 113 new cases, 24 were detected at quarantine zones, 18 cases were detected at companies, 71 cases were detected at medical facilities. These cases are linked to Wanek 2 Co., Ltd, Thu Dau Mot City (12 cases); Cheng Chia Wood Co., Ltd, Tan Uyen Town (13 cases); An Thinh Wood Company, Tan Uyen Town (01 case); Premier Global Vietnam Co., Ltd, Thuan An City (11 cases); Tien Dat Phat Co., Ltd, Bau Bang District (04 cases). At the same time, there are 02 cases from Ho Chi Minh City, 02 cases detected in the community and 68 cases detected through medical declarations.
From the 4th epidemic, Binh Duong has recorded 2,175 infected cases, 04 cases of death. Cumulatively, Binh Duong has recorded 2,221 infected cases (including 32 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad regulated by Military District 7, 07 foreign experts, 2,181 community infections, and 01 illegally imported case from Cambodia). So far, 97 cases have recovered.
Cumulated from the beginning of the epidemic up to now, 65,769 test samples have been conducted for 151, 049 turns of people. Tracing results at all outbreaks have recorded about 12,833 F1 cases, 33,723 F2 cases. The province has 9,789 cases currently in concentrated medical isolation and 20,976 cases in medical isolation at home and residence. 62,969 people have been vaccinated, including 59,089 people who received the 1st dose; 3,880 people who received the 2nd dose. 14,903 people reacted normally after being vaccinated (24%).
The whole province has established 5,788 Community Covid-19 Teams and 7,974 Covid-19 Safety Teams at enterprises in order to enhance the supervision, detection of infections at residential areas and enterprises.
Binh Duong has deployed sampling for 1 million people who live in areas under high risks of Covid-19 spread in the community such as hostels, residents living near hostels, traders at markets or vendors near hostels, bus stations having a daily high frequency of people…The average number of people who are taken samples 1 day/table is 350-400 people.
Sampling locations are in 24 communes, wards. Specifically, 03 wards of Thu Dau Mot City: Phu Hoa, Hoa Phu, Phu Tan; 04 wards of Thuan An City: Binh Chuan, Binh Hoa, An Phu, Thuan Giao; 05 wards of Tan Uyen Town: Tan Phuoc Khanh, Tan Hiep, Tan Vinh Hiep, Thai Hoa, Khanh Binh; 05 communes, wards of Ben Cat Town: Tan Dinh, Thoi Hoa, Hoa Loi, An Tay, My Phuoc; all wards of Di An City. In other areas, depending on the epidemic situation, the Health sector proposes to take samples for large-scale testing for people.
To ensure the epidemic prevention and control without waiting for a long time when taking test samples, residents should bring mobile phones, set up Bluezone and fully conduct medical declaration at home for themselves and their relatives on the website of tokhaiyte.vn or Bluezone, Vietnam Health Declaration apps on their smart phones. When going to sampling locations, residents should open Bluezone and show the QR code to medical staff.
