PORTAL - The Department of Health has established a Coordination Team to investigate, trace, localize, and take samples for rapid response testing to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic (Coordination Team).
Accordingly, the Coordination Team is responsible for developing plans, directly organizing and coordinating local teams and units to investigate, trace, localize, and the process of taking samples for rapid response testing to prevent and control the Covid-19 pandemic to promptly quell the pandemic. Supporting and guiding local organizations to take samples; testing and applying all types of tests and biological products; ensuring biosafety and managing appropriate sampling and testing data. At the same time, directing the synthesis of demand for medicines, chemicals, vaccines, biological products, supplies, equipment, and funding and proposing competent authorities to decide, ensure timely supply and support for units and localities for pandemic prevention and control.
The coordination team is available 24/7 (24 hours/day and 7 days a week), is entitled to the pandemic prevention and control allowances according to regulations and is self-dissolved after completing its tasks.
The coordination team is led by Mr. Huynh Thanh Ha - Deputy Director of the Department of Health as the Head; Mr. Nguyen Kieu Uyen - Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control as Permanent Deputy Head; Mr. Tran Van Chung - Deputy Director of the Provincial Center for Disease Control as Deputy Head.
