Until July 15, 2021, Binh Duong has got more than 2,000 Covid-19 cases

​PORTAL - According to the report of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, until 17:00 on July 15, Binh Duong recorded 122 new infected cases, bringing the total number of infected cases in the province up to 2,009.

Among 122 new infected cases, 51 cases were detected at quarantine zones, 38 cases were detected at medical facilities, 02 cases were detected at epidemic-control checkpoints, 31 cases were detected while being conducted community screening.

These cases are linked to Premier Global VN Co., Ltd (18 cases); Hansoll Vina Co., Ltd (01 case); Wanek 2 Co., Ltd (01 case); LIWAYWAY Co., Ltd (06 cases); Di An Market (16 cases); An Dien Market (01 case); Quang Vinh 3 Market – Tan Uyen (03 cases). At the same time, there are 52 infected cases from Ho Chi Minh City (Freetrend Co., Ltd: 01 case, Alexander Co., Ltd: 02 cases, Poucher Co., Ltd: 01 case, Binh Dien Market: 11 cases, Thu Duc wholesale market: 29 cases, travelling from Ho Chi Minh City: 08 cases). Through medical declarations, 24 cases were detected (under epidemiological inspection).

The number of infected cases is still at a high level, increases in Thuan An, Di An and has the potential to spread to northern localities like Dau Tieng, Bau Bang, Phu Giao.

Cumulatively, Binh Duong has recorded 2,115 infected cases (including 32 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad regulated by Military District 7, 07 foreign experts, 2,015 community infections, and 01 illegally imported case from Cambodia).

Currently Binh Duong has 09 treatment areas with 1,928 patients under treatments. Among the cases, there are 39 pregnant women; 25 people over 65 years old; 52 people with underlying diseases; 24 patients having severe development. Cumulatively, 97 recovered patients have been discharged, 02 patients died (01 patient died on July 04 and the other died on July 09, 2021).

Tracing results at all outbreaks recorded about 9,598 F1 cases, 31,692 F2 cases. The province has 9,669 cases currently in concentrated medical isolation and 20,739 cases in medical isolation at home and residence.

So far, the province has vaccinated 61,749 people, including 57,879 people who received the 1st dose; 3,876 people who received the 2nd dose. 14,853 people reacted normally after being vaccinated (24%).
