TTDT - According to the report of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Disease Prevention and Control, until 17:00 on July 14, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 73 new cases, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases in the community in the province from the 4th outbreak to 1,887 cases.
Out of the 73 new cases, 50 were detected in isolation areas and 23 were detected at medical facilities. These cases are related to the outbreak at Premier Global VN Company (27 cases); Wanek 2 company (23 cases) and medical declaration of 23 cases (epidemiological investigation).
The cases have residence addresses in Thuan An city (Binh Hoa, An Phu, Lai Thieu, An Thanh, Binh Chuan wards); Di An City (Tan Binh, Di An, Tan Dong Hiep, An Binh wards); Tan Uyen Town (Thai Hoa, Phu Chanh ward); Ben Cat Town (Thoi Hoa, Hoa Loi wards); Hoa Phu ward, Thu Dau Mot city; An Binh commune, Phu Giao district; District 12, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City.
Accumulated in Binh Duong, there were 1,933 cases of Covid-19 (including: 32 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad regulated by Military Region 7, 07 foreign experts entering, 1,893 cases of infection in the community, 01 case of illegal entry from Cambodia). The number of being treated is 1,669 cases, 02 deaths.
On July 14, 2021, 10 more patients completed treatment and were eligible to be discharged from the hospital. Up to now, 97 patients have recovered.
Tracing results at all outbreaks recorded about 9,598 F1 cases, 31,692 F2 cases. The province has 9,669 cases of concentrated isolation and 20,739 cases of medical isolation at home and residence.
To enhance the effectiveness of epidemic surveillance in residential areas and businesses, the Provincial People's Committee issued Directive No. 12/CT-UBND dated July 5, 2021 on improving the operational efficiency of the Community Covid Team and the Covid Safety Team. Up to now, the whole province has established 5,788 community Covid groups and 7,974 Covid safety groups at enterprises.
