PORTAL - On the morning of July 13, the Inspection Team for Covid-19 prevention and control of the Ministry of Health led by Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan - Deputy Minister of Health, had an actual inspection of the collection and treatment facilities for Covid-19 patients at campus 2 of the Provincial General Hospital (Phu Chanh Ward, Tan Uyen Town) and Field Hospital (Area 3, Becamex Social Housing, Chanh Phu Hoa Ward, Ben Cat Town).
Currently, the Field Hospital (Area 3, Becamex Social Housing) is treating 245 patients with Covid-19 infection; in which, the first negative has 02 cases, the second negative has 11 cases, the severe case has 06 cases, the child patient has 15 cases, 04 pregnant patients, the oldest patient is 69 years old, the youngest patient is 8 months old. In terms of treatment, the area has applied information technology in the treatment of Covid-19 patients, especially monitoring the patient's health situation through mobile application to reduce contact with patients but still ensure treatment. The hospital is connected to remote medical examination system to diagnose when necessary. The current difficulty of the treatment area is that there is no support force, medical staff and doctors have to take care of all activities from garbage collection and sanitation to patient treatment and mental stability for patients.

Reporting to the Team of the Ministry of Health at the Treatment Area for Covid-19 patients (campus 2 of the Provincial General Hospital), Mr. Van Quang Tan - Director of the Provincial General Hospital said that the treatment area is arranged with a total of 493 beds in 2 buildings. The area is treating 115 mild, asymptomatic patients. Currently, there are 30 patients who have tested negative 3 times and are about to be discharged. The treatment area also prepares the ICU center (resuscitation and emergency) installed with camera connecting to serve the treatment of severe patients.

After visiting two treatment areas for Covid-19 patients, the Team had a meeting with the Binh Duong Health branch. Members of the Team commented, in a few weeks, the number of cases of Binh Duong tends to increase, so it is necessary to join hands of the whole system. Especially it is needed to further promote regular, daily activities of Covid Community Groups; strictly implement Directive 16 in localities. The province needs to further strengthen its testing capacity to be able to meet the need for extensive screening in the community. In order for the sampling work to be effective, it is necessary to have the active participation of forces.
