Binh Duong recorded 128 new Covid-19 cases

​PORTAL - According to the report of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control, from 17:00 on July 11 to 17:00 on June 12, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 128 new positive cases of Covid-19 in the community, bringing the total number of cases from the 4th epidemic to 1,628.

Among 128 new cases, 56 cases were detected at the quarantine zones, 10 cases were detected at lockdowns, 01 case was detected during community screening, and 61 cases were detected at medical facilities.

The infected cases have residential addresses in Thuan An City (Thuan Giao, Binh Chuan, Binh Hoa, An Phu, Hung Dinh, An Thanh, Lai Thieu, Vinh Phu Ward); Thu Dau Mot City (Hiep Thanh, Phu Hoa, Chanh Nghia, Dinh Hoa Ward); Di An City (Tan Dong Hiep, Di An, An Binh, Tan Binh Ward); Tan Uyen Town (Uyen Hung, Khanh Binh, Tan Vinh Hiep, Tan Hiep, Thai Hoa, Hoi Nghia Ward); Ben Cat Town (Tan Dinh, My Phuoc Ward and An Phu Commune); Long Tan Commune, Dau Tieng District; Long Nguyen Commune, Bau Bang District; Binh My Commune, Bac Tan Uyen District; Bien Hoa City, Dong Nai Province; Thu Duc City and Hoc Mon District, Ho Chi Minh City. The patients are quarantined and treated at Binh Duong General Hospital and Medical Centers of districts, towns, cities.

The epidemic has occurred in 48 companies, factories and dozens of workers' hostels.

Tracing results at all outbreaks recorded about 9,598 F1 cases, 31,692 F2 cases. The province has 8,192 cases currently in concentrated medical isolation and 20,407 cases in medical isolation at home and residence.

Cumulatively, Binh Duong has recorded 1,674 patients (including 32 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad regulated by Military District 7, 07 foreign experts, 1,602community infections, and 01 illegally imported case from Cambodia). The number of patients under treatments is 1,602 people, 02 death cases were recorded and 72 cases have recovered.

So far, 5,788 Community Covid-19 Teams and 4,703 Covid-19 Safety Teams have been established at enterprises.

Currently, many new cases of Covid-19 have been recorded in the community, and the Health sector recommends that people strictly follow local regulations on epidemic prevention and control, especially in localities where Directive 16 of the Prime Minister is being applied. At the same time, it is recommended that people raise the spirit of epidemic prevention and control, implement the 5K message of the Ministry of Health; when symptoms of a respiratory illness such as fever, cough, sore throat, chest tightness, difficulty breathing, etc., appear, immediately contact the nearest medical facility for instructions on how to prevent and control the epidemic according to regulations.
