People from Ho Chi Minh City to Binh Duong must self-quarantine for 07 days, test 3 times

​PORTAL - The Provincial People's Committee directs the implementation of Official dispatch no. 5389/BYT-MT of the Ministry of Health on the reception of people from Ho Chi Minh City to the locality.

Accordingly, all people from Ho Chi Minh City (except for cases from other provinces and cities that pass through Ho Chi Minh City but do not stop or park) who are considered contact ones with people having close contact with identified cases must conduct medical quarantine at home within 07 days from the date of return to the locality, continue to self-monitor their health for the next 7 days. At the same time, they have to take the test 03 times on the first day, the third day and the sixth day during the medical quarantine period at home.

During the self-monitoring period, they are required to limit contact with people around, not to participate in activities that gather in large numbers. If there are signs of fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or signs of loss of taste, they must immediately notify the nearest medical facility for prompt and proper treatment instructions.

Drivers of vehicles transporting goods in and out of Ho Chi Minh City must comply with pandemic prevention and control requirements under the guidance of the Ministry of Health in Official dispatch no. 898/BYT-MT dated February 07, 2021 and Official dispatch no. 4351/BYT-MT dated May 28, 2021. Accordingly, the drivers of vehicles transporting goods are required to: Record transportation journey, list of contact cases; ensure vehicle ventilation, regularly open vehicle windows; limit contact with others; fully implement pandemic prevention and control measures (wearing masks during the transportation and loading and unloading of goods, regularly disinfecting hands, making health declarations, disinfecting vehicles daily, etc.). At the same time, organizing testing for SARS-CoV-2 twice for drivers of transport vehicles coming out of the lockdown or outbreak areas (at the time of departure and return), etc.
