On July 5, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 131 new Covid-19 cases

​PORTAL - According to the report of the Department of Health, from 15:00 to 18:00 on July 5, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 114 new cases of Covid-19 (the Ministry of Health has not announced), bringing the total number of cases of the day to 131 cases.

Out of 114 cases in the afternoon of July 5, 2021, there were 110 cases in isolation areas, 03 cases were detected at medical facilities, 01 case is a student at Nguyen Thi Minh Khai High School (Tan Binh, Di An) discovered when screening candidates before the graduation exam. Regarding epidemiological factors, there are 110 cases related to the outbreak at Wanek 2 Company; 04 cases in the community.

The cases reside in Hoa Phu, Phu Cuong, and Phu Hoa wards (Thu Dau Mot city); Hoa Loi, Tan Dinh, Thoi Hoa wards (Ben Cat town); Phu Chanh, Tan Hiep, Tan Phuoc Khanh, Vinh Tan wards, Hoi Nghia commune (Tan Uyen town); Binh Hoa and Thuan Giao wards (Thuan An city); Tan Binh Ward (Di An City); Minh Thanh commune (Dau Tieng district); Cao Lanh City (Dong Thap); Long My district (Hau Giang); Tan Chau district (An Giang).

Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong has recorded 766 cases of Covid-19 in the community, 01 death. The disease has appeared in 40 companies, factories and dozens of worker dormitories.

Accumulated in Binh Duong, there were 812 cases of Covid-19, including: 32 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad regulated by Military Region 7, 07 foreign experts entering, 772 cases of infection in the community, 01 case of illegal entry from Cambodia. The number of patients being treated is 763 cases.

As reported, on the morning of July 5, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 17 more cases of Covid-19 who had been isolated before. In which, there are 03 cases related to the outbreak at Wanek 2 Company; 12 cases related to Vietnam Housewares Company; 02 cases related to the outbreak in Phu An commune, Ben Cat town.
