Striving to 2030, vocational education in Binh Duong province approaches the level of ASEAN-4 countries

​PORTAL - The Provincial People's Committee has just promulgated the Plan to implement Resolution no. 47/NQ-HDND dated December 10, 2020 of the Provincial People's Council on the Vocational Education (VE) Development Plan for the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030 of Binh Duong province (referred to as the Plan).

Accordingly, the overall objective of the Plan is to train direct human resources for production, business and services, with professional practice capacity corresponding to the level of training; be ethical and healthy; professional responsibility; ability to be creative and adapt to the working environment in the context of international integration; to ensure the improvement of productivity and quality of labor; create conditions for learners after completing the course to be able to find a job, create their own job or study to a higher level.

Striving to 2025, the rate of trained laborers will reach 85%, of which 35% have diplomas, certificates and creating jobs to increase by about 35,000 laborers every year.

By 2030, vocational education in Binh Duong province will approach the level of ASEAN-4 countries. Developing and standardizing a contingent of teachers to ensure standards of professional qualifications, professional skills and professional ethics, having technological skills to meet the requirements of the Industrial Revolution 4.0. The rate of trained laborers reaches 87.5%, of which 37.5% have diplomas and certificates, every year creating jobs to increase about 40,000 laborers.

The Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs advises the Provincial People's Committee to develop a project on a vocational training network in an open and flexible manner, in line with the Planning on the network of VE institutions of the Central Government and socio-economic planning of the province; review and arrange VE institutions, orient training professions for each school, based on the strengths of the school to ensure the right investment, avoiding the scattered and duplicating investment; promote the efficiency of investment and improve the quality of vocational training.
