On July 2, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 13 cases of Covid-19 in the community

​PORTAL - According to the report of the Department of Health, as of 17:00 on July 2, 2021, Binh Duong recorded 13 Covid-19 cases in the community, bringing the total number of Covid-19 cases from the 4th outbreak in the province to 510 cases.

Out of 13 new cases, there were 03 cases in the isolation area; 3 cases were detected at medical facilities (Hanh Phuc International Hospital, Medic Hospital, An Tay Medical Station, Ben Cat Town); 02 cases detected when taking samples for testing for community screening (Phu Chanh ward, Tan Uyen town); 05 cases detected when doing quick test at companies (Hansol Vina, Spartronic).

In which, there are 03 cases related to the outbreak at WANEK 2 Company; 01 case related to the outbreak of the hostel at 36 Duc Tan, Binh Duong 1, An Binh, Di An; 02 cases related to Hansol Vina Company; 03 cases related to Spartronic Company; 02 cases of infection from Ho Chi Minh City; 01 case through medical declaration.

These cases reside in Di An city (Tan Dong Hiep ward: 01 case; Tan Binh ward: 01 case; An Binh ward: 01 case); Thuan An City (Binh Chuan ward: 01 case; An Phu ward: 04 cases); Tan Uyen town (Phu Chanh ward: 02 cases); Ben Cat town (Hoa Loi ward: 01 case; Phu An commune: 01 case) and Ho Chi Minh City (Linh Dong ward, Thu Duc city: 01 case).

On July 1, 2021, the Health sector took a total of 2,345 test samples, including 1,323 single samples and 1,022 pooled- samples (9,911 people).

The disease has appeared in 38 companies, factories and dozens of worker dormitories. Facing the complicated epidemic situation, the Health sector plans to organize sampling to screen 1 million people in high-risk areas. Establishing 100 inspection teams to monitor and guide epidemic prevention and control at companies, factories and enterprises. At the same time, strengthen inspection and close supervision of concentrated isolation areas to prevent cross-infection; increase the number of isolation beds to 20,000 - 30,000 beds; improve the treatment capacity of Covid-19 patients, the ability to meet 1,000 patients.
