​Specifically, among 05 cases there is 01 case related to TICO Company, 03 cases related to Hien Hoa Anh Ceramic Company and 01 case with the infection source in Ho Chi Minh City. Of which, 02 are in the concentrated isolation area and 03 are in the lockdown.

Cumulatively, Binh Duong has recorded 272 infected cases including 32 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad regulated by Military District 7, 07 foreign experts, 232 community infections, and 01 illegally imported case from Cambodia.

Facing with the complicated epidemic situation these days, the province has mobilized all forces to stop the source of the infection. On June 24, 2021, the Health sector deployed to take screening samples for people in Binh Phuoc A and Binh Phuoc B Qarter of Binh Chuan Ward, Thuan An City (this is the area where many infected cases occurred recently). 1,733 pooled samples were tested for 17,000 people, the results were negative.

Currently, there are 34 concentrated isolation areas (with 04 areas which are hotels for foreign experts) located throughout all districts, towns, cities with the quarantine capacity of 10,000 beds, ready to receive quarantine cases immediately. Currently, the province has 3,596 cases under concentrated isolation and 9,976 cases under isolation at home, accommodation.

Regarding the treatment, all 228 patients (226 community-infected patients, 01 re-positive case from Khanh Hoa, 01 imported specialist) were transferred to isolation and treatment at Binh Duong Provincial General Hospital (155 cases), Tan Uyen Medical Center (05 cases) and Thuan An Medical Center (68 cases). Among these patients, there is 01 patient with severe prognosis on mechanical ventilation and 03 patients receiving oxygen.

From June 17, 2021, Binh Duong has started to deploy the Phase 3 of vaccination. 22,625 people were vaccinated (including 22,266 people injecting the first dose; 359 people injecting the second dose). 4,866 people had normal reactions (21.5%), there were no cases of severe reactions. Accumulated up to now, Binh Duong Province has implemented vaccination for 43,432 people (including 41,342 people injecting the first dose; 2,090 people injecting the second dose). 11,838 people had normal reactions (27.3%), there were no cases of severe reactions.
