191 cases of Covid-19 from the 4th outbreak
Within the cases recorded on the morning of June 24, there were 25 cases related to the outbreak of Tan Phuoc Khanh, TX. Tan Uyen (23 cases in Binh Chuan Ward, Thuan An City; 01 case in Thai Hoa Ward, Tan Uyen Town; 01 school in Tan Vinh Hiep Ward, Tan Uyen Town). These are previously isolated F1 cases. In addition, there are 02 other cases: 01 case with address in Binh Hoa ward, Thuan An City works in Ho Chi Minh City, on June 23, self-declared medical at Thuan An Medical Center with positive test results; 01 case is the driver of the Ho Chi Minh City Equipment and Book Company, branch of Song Than 3 Industrial Park, Thu Dau Mot City (Residing in Linh Xuan Ward, Thu Duc City, Ho Chi Minh City), on June 23, self-declared medical at Hoan Hao 1 Hospital (Di An City), got a positive test result.
Regarding the above 27 cases, 102 F1 cases have been traced, which are undergoing concentrated isolation and sampling for testing. Other F1, F2 cases are being investigated and traced. Epidemiological points related to the cases have been localized by functional forces, temporarily medically isolated and disinfected.
Since the 4th outbreak, Binh Duong province has recorded 191 cases of Covid-19 in the community, including: 03 cases in Binh Quoi B, Binh Chuan Ward, Thuan An City; 05 cases at Phuc Dat Manufacturing and Trading Company, Di An City; 03 cases at E-Home 4 Apartment, Vinh Phu Ward, Thuan An City; 05 cases at Puku Vietnam Co., Ltd., Binh Hoa ward, Thuan An city; 03 cases in Binh Thang, Di An City; 03 cases in Binh Nham ward, Thuan An City (related to Hoc Mon Wholesale Market, Ho Chi Minh City); 02 cases are drivers of the North-South long-distance route discovered in Lai Uyen town, Bau Bang district; 01 case is the driver of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of Book and School Equipment Company in Binh Duong; 01 case in Binh Hoa ward, Thuan An City and 165 cases related to the outbreak in Tan Phuoc Khanh ward, Tan Uyen town.
Accumulated in Binh Duong, there have been 237 cases of Covid-19, including: 32 Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad regulated by Military Region 7, 07 foreign experts on entry, 197 infections in the community, 01 case of illegal entry from Cambodia.
Focus on cutting off the source of infection
According to the Health sector, among the current outbreaks, the most ominous and high risk of spreading is the one in Tan Phuoc Khanh ward, Tan Uyen town and House Wares Company (Binh Chuan Ward, Thuan An City), with the virus strain from India has a very fast transmission rate. The case has penetrated into many companies and spread to workers' dormitories, so it is difficult to control and may increase in cases in the near future if not prevented promptly.

Binh Duong has requested the Ministry of Health to support the distribution of Covid-19 vaccines as much as possible to expand vaccination for workers. At the same time, Binh Duong is allowed to actively access to buy Covid-19 vaccines through businesses negotiating with vaccine manufacturers. According to information from the Ministry of Health, in July 2021, the Ministry will provide Binh Duong with about 500,000 to 1 million doses of vaccine to inject workers in industrial zones.
The province also hopes the Ministry of Health to direct and provide professional support in the treatment of epidemics in the industrial park.
