​Accordingly, the Chairman of the City People's Committee requested the heads of agencies and units of the city, the Chairman of the People's Committees of the wards to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the directive documents of the Prime Minister, Ministries, Central branches, Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee, City Party Committee and City People's Committee related to the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic effectively.

Strictly implementing Directive No. 16/CT-TTg throughout the area of 04 wards: Hiep An, Chanh My, Phu Hoa, Hiep Thanh from 00:00 on June 21, 2021 until further notice, ensure social distancing; keep distance between people and community, strictly observe the minimum distance of 2m when communicating; do not gather more than 02 people outside the scope of offices, schools, hospitals and in public places. Require people to stay at home, minimize going out except for absolutely necessary cases such as buying food, medicine and other essential goods and necessities; emergencies such as emergency, medical examination and treatment, natural disaster, fire etc.; in case of leaving the house, must wear a mask, wash hands with soap or hand sanitizer; suspend all public passenger transport etc.

The remaining wards continue to strictly implement Directive No. 15/CT-TTg.

The City Health Center shall preside and coordinate to thoroughly control the epidemic situation in epidemic areas; quickly trace, apply appropriate measures to all cases of risk, contact with patients, people coming or returning from epidemic areas; continue to call on people going through epidemic areas to make medical declarations and contact local health authorities for instructions on measures to prevent and control the epidemic according to regulations.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and mass organizations, the Culture and Information Division, and the Radio Station have strengthened propaganda on the situation of the Covid-19 epidemic so that people can improve their sense of responsibility and proactively prevent and control the epidemic.

The City Public Security shall preside and coordinate with relevant agencies and units to ensure security and order at the disease control checkpoints, medical zoned areas for epidemic prevention and control, concentrated medical isolation areas of the city. Strictly manage and control cases of movement from epidemic areas, through epidemic areas to the city; strictly handle cases of illegal entry and illegal residence.

People's Committees of wards inspect and supervise the observance of regulations such as mandatory wearing of masks in public places, temporary suspension of non-essential activities and medical isolation at home and accommodation etc. and strictly handle cases of violations on Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control. Promoting the role of the community Covid-19 Team, understand the travel schedule of each case moving out the area, destination etc. to detect cases in order to proactively implement a timely and effective response plan.
