PORTAL - On June 02, the Provincial Red Cross Society (RCS) coordinated with the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Provincial Military Command and the localities, sponsors to organize a Delegation to visit and present gifts to the forces working in pandemic prevention and control and people in the lockdown and medical quarantine area in Thu Dau Mot City and Thuan An City.
Attending were Mr. Nguyen Van Loc - Member of the Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of Commission for Mass Mobilization of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Trinh - Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society.
In Thu Dau Mot City, the Delegation visited and presented gifts of necessities and essential goods to support forces participating in pandemic prevention and control at the medical quarantine area in Hiep Thanh 3 Residential Area, Hiep Thanh ward; total value of 30 million VND. In Thuan An city, the Delegation visited and presented gifts to support 700 households and forces participating in pandemic prevention and control in the medical quarantine area in Binh Chuan ward; total value of 134 million VND. Through the Provincial RCS, a number of enterprises also came to the place to present more essentials to support the pandemic prevention and control in the two medical quarantine areas above. The total value of the visit and gift presenting to support is more than 170 million VND, which was mobilized by the Provincial RCS from enterprises and benefactors to support and donate.

At the destinations to present support gifts, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Mr. Nguyen Van Loc visited, inquired and encouraged the spirit of the forces participating in the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control as well as people living in quarantine areas with peace of mind and consensus to ensure the good implementation of pandemic prevention and control in the area. With the endeavors and efforts in calling for mobilization, the Provincial RCS has received a lot of support resources from units, enterprises, benefactors and appropriately allocated to the right people, contributing to share with the difficulties of people in medical quarantine areas; joining hands with the province and localities to well implement the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control. He hoped, with the joint effort, consensus, sharing and support of enterprises and people in the entire province, Thu Dau Mot City and Thuan An City will soon overcome this outbreak.
