​The "Golden Hammer and Sickle" Awards, presided over by the Organization Commission of the Central Committee in collaboration with the Nhan Dan newspaper, the Communist Review, VTV and the Vietnam Journalists Association to organize, is a press award to honor outstanding authors, works and typical collectives who have made great contributions to propaganda activities on Party building.

In order to improve the quality of information and propaganda work of mass media agencies and have more press works that deeply exploit practical issues, vividly reflect on the work of Party building and political system building of Binh Duong province, the Propaganda Committee of Provincial Party Committee proposed the Provincial Journalists Association and the provincial press agencies to develop a plan to participate in the 6^th "Golden Hammer and Sickle" Awards in 2021 in association with promoting propaganda, mobilizing, facilitating and supporting the contingent of journalists, members, reporters and collaborators to actively research, invest in the implementation of outstanding press works to participate in the contest. At the same time, mobilizing, creating favorable conditions and supporting for the contingent of journalists and reporters of press agencies outside the province to implement thematic press works to closely follow the reality of Party building and political system building of Binh Duong province to participate in the contest.

The thematic orientation of the works participating in the contest focuses on the following contents: The leadership, direction and administration of the Party executive committees and authorities at all levels in the province on Party building, political system building, and the implementation of the Resolution of the Party Congress at all levels; the orientations and strategic breakthrough programs that Binh Duong provincial Party Committee focuses on leading and directing in order to contribute to the successful completion of the country's development goals by 2025, 2030 and 2045; the election of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure; the consolidation of the entire State apparatus at all levels; the Party building on morality associated with the implementation of the Politburo's Directive no. 05-CT/TW on continuing to accelerate the studying and following of President Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and lifestyle and implementing regulations on setting examples of cadres and Party members; the Party building and rectification, building a socialist rule-of-law state and a clean and strong political system; the introduction of new models, good practices, and typical examples in Party building for dissemination and replication; continuing to inform and propagate on the protection of the Party's ideological foundation; fighting against "peaceful evolution"; refuting the wrong views and distorting claims of hostile forces on Party building, political system building, Party leadership and direction, and our country's achievements in various fields, etc.
