According to the report, Bac Tan Uyen district has nearly 74,900 people, with 58,316 voters. Up to now, the District People's Committee has established 8 Election Boards with 67 District Election Groups; 64 Election Boards with 67 commune-level polling stations. In which, fixing 8 constituencies for district People's Council deputies, electing 30 deputies; 64 constituencies for commune People's Council deputies, electing 257 deputies. In addition, Bac Tan Uyen district is selected as the constituency no. 4 to elect deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and the constituency no. 18 to elect deputies to the Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 tenure.

Along with the good implementation of the work of ensuring security and order and preventing and controlling the Covid-19 pandemic; currently, the district EC and the Election Boards of communes and towns have also carefully prepared facilities and equipment to serve the election work. At the same time, the district has also completed the posting of the list of voters, biographies of candidates for the election of deputies to the 15^th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 tenure in polling stations, headquarters of agencies, units, People's Committees of communes, town, offices of quarters, hamlets and public places in the area. The district EC is coordinating with the provincial EC to organize for candidates to meet and contact with voters to exercise their right to campaign for the election in accordance with regulations.

Speaking at the meeting, the Inspection team highly appreciated the election preparation of Bac Tan Uyen district, and the EC from the district to the commune had well performed the stages and steps, ensuring compliance with proposed regulations and schedule. However, in order for the election to take place successfully, the Team also suggested that the EC at all levels in the district should continue to promote extensive propaganda among all strata of the people, especially the force of migrant workers and labors; provide professional training in election work to members of the Election Group; organize for voters to learn the principles and rules of the election and the rules of the polling booth, etc. to help voters understand the meaning and importance of the upcoming election to exercise their rights and obligations as citizens; Paying special attention to the Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, carefully preparing meetings between candidates and voters to campaign for the election in accordance with regulations.
