PORTAL - The Provincial People's Committee issues a Plan to implement the Program on strengthening, developing and improving the quality of family planning services in Binh Duong province until 2030 (referred to as the Plan).
Accordingly, the goal of the Plan is to ensure adequate, diversified, timely, safe, convenient, quality family planning services to meet the increasing needs of people, contributing to the successful implementation of the Binh Duong provincial Action Plan for the period of 2020-2025 with a vision to 2030, to implement the Vietnam Population Strategy until 2030.
Specific targets: 100% of women of reproductive age have convenient access to modern contraception, fertility support, infertility prevention in the community; the proportion of women of reproductive age using modern contraception remains at about 65% -70%; reducing 2/3 of adolescents and young people with unwanted pregnancies. 100% of public family planning service providers and non-public hospitals meet the required quality standards. 75% of non-public health care facilities meet the required quality standards by 2025 and 90% by 2030. 100% of health facilities provide family planning services, implement clinical contraception and provide technical assistance to lower levels. 100% of communes continue to provide non-clinical contraception through a team of population collaborators and health staff at the quarter/hamlet. Over 95% of the commune level regularly organizes propaganda and encourages people to implement family planning and use contraceptive methods; consequences of abortion, especially adolescents and young people by 2025 and maintained until 2030.
Department of Health coordinates with other departments, committees, branches and unions to strictly implement solutions to improve mechanisms and policies on contraceptive provision, local family planning services. Periodically providing information, mobilizing the Party executive committees and authorities to strengthen leadership, direct and support resources. Mobilizing organizations and individuals to participate in socialization to supply contraceptives, family planning services; diversifying types of communication, focusing on mass media channels; communication products suitable to each unit and locality; renovating contents and methods of population education, reproductive health, sexual health, gender and sex in schools suitable to each educational level and age group.
At the same time, strengthening the network of family planning service providers at all levels; investing in and supplementing facilities and equipment to family planning service providers; promoting the socialization of family planning services, creating favorable conditions for organizations and individuals to participate in the plan; mobilizing the entire health system and population to participate in the implementation of the plan according to the assigned functions and tasks; giving priority to ensure operations at grassroots levels and industrial parks with a high concentration of young migrant workers.
