Provincial leaders meet in talk with Taiwanese enterprises in Binh Duong Province


BEGIC - In the morning of October 28, Provincial People's Committee
organized a meeting and talk with Taiwanese enterprises in Binh Duong Province.
Attending the event was Tran Thanh Liem, the Deputy Chair of Provincial
People's Committee, Luong Quang Trung, the representative of Taipei Chamber of
Economics and Culture in Ho Chi Minh City, and representatives of departments
and sectors as well as Provincial Association of Taiwanese enterprises.

As reported by Provincial People's Committee, by the middle of October 2016, Taiwan is ranked secondly for its investments of US$ 5.153 billion of registered capital in 738 projects. In October 2016, various Taiwanese investors have investigated investment environment of the province to accommodate 28 new projects and 14 projects of capital increment of US$ 131 million to be in the fourth place of capital funding after Singapore, South Korea, and Japan.

 

At the talk, various Taiwanese investors have paid attention to matters of traffic system, internet bandwidth, land lease, labor permit procedures, VAT return, exportation licensing, etc. Also at the talk, representatives of related departments and sectors have respectively answered the questions of investors to Binh Duong Province.

Addressing the talk, Luong Quang Trung, the representative of Taipei Chamber of Economics and Culture in Ho Chi Minh City, informed of his appreciation for the care and support of provincial leaders towards Taiwanese enterprises in Binh Duong Province. The recommendations of the enterprises at the talk have been thoroughly received. He affirm his support for the province and enterprises.

Concluding the talk, Tran Thanh Liem, the Deputy Chair of Provincial People's Committee stressed that the event has been attended by enterprises and local Association of Taiwanese enterprises. He informed that the provincial authority has paid much attention to development of traffic system to facilitate transportation, and vocational education. For the time to come, the province shall foster specific planning for refinement of traffic infrastructure and vocational education. On behalf of the province, Tran Thanh Liem wished that Binh Duong Province would be the best destination of investment choices of Taiwanese enterprises.
