Provincial leader receive Canadian Consul General
BEGIC - On December 7, Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Standing Vice Chairman of
the PPC had a working session with Canadian Consul General in Ho Chi
Minh City, Mr. Richard Bale who paid a courtesy visit on his new term.​
At the working session, Mr. Richard Bale said that as Viet Nam and Canada are members of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) therefore both countries must prepare for new opportunities as well as challenges. He expressed his impression on the province's rapid development in recent years. Consul General Richard Bale promised to facilitate Canadian enterprises that want to survey and inspect the investment environment in Binh Duong.

Standing Vice Chairman Tran Thanh Liem informed that Binh Duong has actively constructed the policies and strategies to prepare for new opportunities and challenges when the TPP comes into effect. In addition the PPC has held programs such as dialogue with local businesses to solve their problems, facilitating their operation. Vice Chairman Liem wished Consul General Richard Bale success on his new duty, promoting and boosting the relations between Canada and Viet Nam, and Binh Duong in particular.
