Strengthening to popularize local traditional craft villages

BEGIC - Over the past time, the province’s sector of culture-sports and tourism teamed up with relevant units to adjust the local plan on tourism development till 2020 with a vision to 2013; perfected a detailed outline and expenditure estimates of the Project on “Assessing the impacts of climate change on Binh Duong’s tourism sector” and carried out a survey on the boundary of Ba Lua port to map out a detailed plan for tourism development.

The sector also delivered more than 5,000 local tourism books to domestic and foreign tourists at the 2016 HCM city Tourism Festival; coordinated with Dai Viet Hoan Cau Joint Stock Company to collect information and photos about Binh Duong’s tourism, thereby composing and publishing a handbook named “Binh Duong’s tourism-10 attractive things to tourists”.

In the coming time, the sector will take part in the 2016 Vietnam International Tourism Fair; work with press agencies, communications companies and People’s Committees at all levels to carry out programs popularizing Lai Thieu orchard and some traditional craft villages in the province.
