Garments, shoes, and woodwork commodity group of the province strongly grow
​BEGIC - In January 2016, exportation value of the province has gained
US$ 2,381.9 million increasing by 1.7% higher than in December 2015. Of
which, the woodwork industry has exportation revenue of US$ 242.9
million, increasing by 7.7%, garment-making US$ 212.2 million,
increasing by 9.1%, and shoe-making US$ 190.9 million, increasing by
11.6% higher than previous month.
The major exportation markets of Binh Duong Province in the month are still USA, EU, China, South Korea, etc. Of the markets, woodwork, garment-making, and shoe-making of the province are expected to gain stable growth in 2016. For the year, various FTAs will come into force, bringing opportunities to domestic enterprises and enterprises in Binh Duong Province as taxation against exportation commodities including shoes will be more favored.
