Aiming at green industrial park model
Since the establishment, VSIP always keep the industrial parks green, clean and nice; refuse projects that cause pollution to the environment; require investors to strictly obey environmental protection regulations and require every company to equip a waste water treatment system. VSIP also have a modern waste treatment system which is constantly monitored and maintained.
Giving priority to environmental protection activities, VSIP’s waste water treatment plant can treat 100% of the water in the industrial parks. The waste water treatment plant in VSIP II finished the construction of integrated water treatment station phase 1 with the capacity of 6000 cubic meters/day. In addition, 30% of VSIP is covered by trees, and the public transportation in the industrial parks was designed to reduce traffic congestion, the main cause of air pollution.
After 20 years of establishment and development, VSIP has obtained many achievements in environmental protection, becoming a model of green industrial parks in Binh Duong and Viet Nam.

VSIP Industrial Park was established since 1996 with the size of 500 hectares. This is the only industrial park in Viet Nam founded under the MoU signed between Viet Nam and Singapore Governments, and based on the initiative of late Prime Minister Vo Van Kiet and former Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong. VSIP was funded by Becamex IDC (Binh Duong) and SembCorp Industries (Singapore).
