To inaugurate the largest logistics warehouse in Southeast Asia
BEGIC - On August, APL Vietnam Logistics (American President Lines Group) and TBS Logistics (Thai Binh Shoes Group) held the inauguration ceremony of Warehouse 5 - TBS Logistics at Binh Thang ward, Di An town. Mr. Tran Van Nam, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; and leaders of agencies, sectors attended the ceremony.
Warehouse 5 is one in TBS Logistics system has the largest scale in Southeast Asian system of APL Logistics. Warehouse 5 has a total area of 47.500m2, and modern, standardized equipment, like: HD CCTV cameras, automatic fire alarm and fire fighting system; polycarbonate sheet iron to save energies; CFS management software; 58 input/output doors and 174 containers; average output 8,000 bulk/day or 160 containers.

Currently, TBS Logistics warehouse is the most modern warehouse with loading and unloading, storage management, security of goods, customs tax declaration, packing, labeling equipment.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Van Nam believed that this project would get high efficiency, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province as well as the southern region.

TBS Logistics is affiliated to TBS Group, was established in 2009 and located at a strategic position, in the heart of the key southern economic area. TBS Logistics is a center providing various warehousing and logistics services corresponding to customers want to grow and expand logistics services for domestic and foreign goods.
TBS Logistics has a total area of 115ha, and a total investment of $125 million, including 35ha was put into use and 45ha is on construction. Total area of warehouses: 135,000m2, including Warehouse 1 (21,000m2), Warehouse 2: (16,500m2), 3 warehouses (22,500m2); Warehouse 4 (26,400m2); Warehouse 5 (47,500m2).
