MoU signing ceremony on strengthening the cooperation between Binh Duong province and East Flanders province, Kingdom of Belgium
BEGIC - On October 14 the MoU signing ceremony on strengthening the cooperation between Binh Duong province and East Flanders province, Kingdom of Belgium took place in Binh Duong province.
Mr. Tran Thanh Liem, Deputy Chairman of the PPC, leaders of provincial departments, Mr. Geert Versnick, Vice Governor of East Flanders, Ms. Jehanne Roccas, Ambassador of Kingdom of Belgium to Viet Nam, Mr. Dominique Casier, Consul of Kingdom of Belgium in Ho Chi Minh City and representatives of Belgian companies in Binh Duong attended the ceremony.
Binh Duong PPC and the Government of East Flanders province agreed to sign the MoU on consolidating and strengthening the multifaceted relations. Initially the Parties give priority to boost economic and trade activities in areas: science and technology, logistics, agriculture that applies high-technology, etc. upon the basis of equality and mutual benefits as well as boost cooperation among knowledge centers. In the future , the Parties endeavor to establish a sustainable relation on the basis of mutual efforts in boosting socio-economic development of two localities.

Chairman Liem stated that two localities have similarities in terms of area, population and development orientation. He firmly believed the relations between two provinces would grow significantly in the future.
